The 2017 Mobilizing Medical Missions (M3) Conference was made possible by the generous support and encouragement of many incredible organizations. Hand of Hope was one of those generous sponsors.
Hand of Hope (HOH) is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Their goal is to help as many hurting people as they possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
Through vital outreaches, practical humanitarian aid and media broadcasting worldwide, they are sharing the love of Christ to millions around the world.
“Time and again I am impacted not only by the great needs of people worldwide but also by the amazing opportunity God has given us to do something about it.” says David L. Meyer, CEO of Hand of Hope.
Whether it’s through a feeding program, rescuing women from human trafficking, translating Joyce’s books or one of the many other outreaches they are able to be part of, their goal is clear: to show people that they truly care about them as people and that they are not forgotten. Hand of Hope believes if they do that long enough, the people they help will eventually want to know what’s different about them and what’s compelling HOH to do this for them. And that’s when they are able to introduce them to our Savior—Jesus Christ.
Recently, Joyce Meyer Ministries / Hand of Hope launched its brand new campaign – Project GRL – a worldwide initiative designed to Guide, Restore and Love women and girls suffering from social and political injustice, marginalization, neglect, and abuse. In a press release about this new program, Joyce Meyer said, “Through Project GRL, we can do more than we have ever done before. We are going to show women of all ages how much God loves them through word and deed. Regardless of their circumstances, women need to know that God created them to be a girl on purpose, and He is willing to heal, restore, and empower them because He loves them so much!”
