Carlan Wendler has been serving since 2013 as a Professor of Emergency Medicine and the ER Director at Kibuye Hope Hospital and Hope Africa University, as part of the Serge team in Burundi. In 2008 at a medical missions conference, God called a group of doctors to go together. Over ten years later they are still ministering side-by-side in one of the poorest hungriest nations on earth.
